To attend our 3rd Annual Gala in style, you must channel your inner Southern Belle and Southern Gentleman to put together an outfit worthy of both the class and excitement of the Kentucky Derby!
Belles: They say the trick to putting together the perfect Kentucky Derby outfit is to start by selecting your hat. Once you’ve found the perfect hat, match the dress. Dresses can range anywhere from summer dresses to semi-formal.
Gentlemen:
Don’t be afraid to be brighter and flashier than your favorite Southern Belle. Ties are certainly not required, but can most definitely be incorporated into the outfit. The only fashion mistake you can make is wearing black, gray or brown.
Pull out your favorite pink, powdered blue, or bright yellow dress shirt and throw on an eye catching blazer to complete the look. Unlike the ladies, hats are not required, though they are certainly encouraged.
Alternative Option:
Don’t have time to put together the perfect outfit? No problem! Alternatively, you may come wearing standard cocktail attire!
