QUALIFICATIONS:

Keep Swimming Foundation provides relief to families of critically ill patients who require extended inpatient medical care at an accredited hospital through grants. To be considered for a grant, a family must meet certain qualifications.

Qualifications for consideration:

  • Patient must be receiving care at an accredited hospital within the United States of America.

  • Patient must be receiving inpatient medical treatment at an accredited hospital for a minimum of twenty-one (21) consecutive calendar days. At least one (1) of the hospitalization dates must fall within the month in which they are applying (see below).

  • The need for extended inpatient medical care meets a qualified condition, as outlined below:

To qualify for financial relief, the patient must be undergoing extended inpatient medical care for a reason outside of their control. Keep Swimming Foundation does not grant financial relief to families of patients who partake in elected procedures (i.e. cosmetic or complications resulting from a cosmetic procedure), willful negligence, or illegal activities that result in hospitalization. These decisions will be made by the Board of Directors on a case-by-case basis.

NOMINATION Deadlines:

In 2023, Keep Swimming Foundation will be reviewing all applications as they are submitted. Only applications that include all requested information will be reviewed. Our review process may take up to 30 days to be completed.
